The new bathroom

Before and after shots of our new bathroom. Took 30 years to get me here. I LOVE IT.

Driftwood, shell & beachglass items made by us.

Just a few little beachypieces that Steve & I have made from found items. I love to arrange and rearrange my vignettes.

Rach & Brad

Rachel & Brad love Australian natives, so we themed the wedding around in-season natives. Flannel flowers and Argyle Apple Eucalyptus were the main flowers for her free form bouquet, and the boys wore little buttonholes of berzillia berries and native leaves

The wedding was performed at McCarrs Creek and reception at BYRA hall in Bayview. To continue the native theme, large arrangements were placed around the hall and smaller single natives in the little vases on the cocktail tables. Rachel sourced the lovely little vintage vases for the cocktail tables.

Kristen, BJ & Jonahs

The view from Jonahs is quite spectacular, so the decorations are kept to a minimum. Bird cages and driftwood, Singapore orchids and dodda vine with lots of candles made for a romantic evening.

Kristen wanted her wedding theme to be driftwood. After a visit to her family holiday home in Iluka, northern NSW, Kristen came home with some amazing pieces of driftwood that sat beautifully on each of the reception tables. White Singapore orchids and dodda vine completed the look.

The bouquets were simply roses and dodda vine with white lisianthus.

Zoe's beachy native bouquets

Zoe was such a beautiful bride to be, her bouquet just had to match her laidback style, not to mention the logistics of a wedding up the coast at Treachery Headland near Forster with the florist(me) in Sydney and a very hot day added to the mix. We had to construct the bouquets and buttonholes by Friday lunch for the Saturday wedding to be transported by car to the venue. For this reason, and also because it suited the beautiful Zoe perfectly, we chose natives with a twist.
Her gorgeous bouquet included proteas, argyle apple eucalyptus, berzillia berries, nandina foliage, leucadendron and agonis flexulosa.

Transporting the flowers was tricky, but with the help of some moist paperbark and foam boxes, the flowers were delivered to the very happy bride who enjoyed an amazing day.

The button holes for the groomsmen and dads were a mixture of eucalyptus, berzillia, leucadendron and paper daisies.
